Laura Phillips - Office Manager
I have been in the dental industry for over 15 years. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in practice administration to Dr. Mammen’s office. I understand all aspects of financing, insurance, scheduling, and teamwork that are involved in achieving a perfect smile. My love and enjoyment of dentistry are evident with every patient I am able to help. I look forward to meeting you in the very near future!
I was born and raised in Galveston, Texas and relocated to Katy in 2021 with my husband, Mark and 2 children. In my spare time I love to travel, read, binge watch crime documentaries and am an amazing cake decorator!
I am thrilled to be back at Dr. Mammen's office and look foward to seeing all of our patients again!
Pam Gillispie – Clinical Coordinator
As a clinical coordinator, I love the challenges of helping patients achieve their desires of a beautiful smile without facing any financial difficulties. With over 40 years of experience in the dental field, I find sharing the changes with our patients one of the greatest rewards possible. I believe in the old saying of “treat a patient as you would treat your family". Each one is special to me. I am a proud military mom, my daughter Megan is a Gunnery Sargent in the Marine corp. while my other daughter Katie is a nurse. I have taught my girls to give to our community and country. I am an avid reader and crafter and enjoy those things on the weekend. You can always ask me what project I have going and there is always 2 or 3 in the works. I am happy to have returned to what I consider my dental home and look forward to seeing you all again soon!
Anh Nguyen – Dental Hygienist
I have more than 10 years of progressive dental care experience in Houston and the Katy area. I take pride in providing an effective yet gentle approach to dental care and encourage preventive dental hygiene with every patient.  I love working in the Katy/Fulshear area since my family and I moved to Katy in 2021. I enjoy hearing about the community growth through my patients. My husband, Stanley and I have a daughter, Athena, and a son, Vincent. We are active in the Katy community, KISD, and St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, trying international cuisines, and K-dramas. I am excited to be a part of Dr. Mammen’s clinical team and really look forward to meeting all of you!
Hsuan Hua Huang (Ellie) - Dental Hygienist
I have been a hygienist since 2018 but first entered the dental field as a dental assistant in 2015. I graduated from UT Austin with a Biology degree and later graduated from Pima Medical Institute for Dental Hygiene in 2018. I earned the Golden Scaler Award in hygiene school, a recognition given to the top hygiene student. I aim to provide painless and effective cleanings while caring for my patients’ entire oral health. I strive to provide a calm and comforting experience to all of my patients especially those who are apprehensive of being in the dental chair. I am excited to be part of Dr. Mammen’s Team and look forward to providing the best care for our patients.
During my free time , I like to take my son out for fun and enjoy dental CE courses to further enhance my knowledge and skill.

Kerrie Ortiz - Dental Hygienist
Hi – I have been a hygienist for over 30 years and I love providing the highest quality of care to all of my patients. I moved to Houston from Austin in 2007. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband of over 30+ years and my daughter. We have three dogs that light up our lives. I enjoy being outdoors from fishing to hiking, camping and climbing over rocks with my Jeep. Life is an adventure and I live to enjoy every moment of it. I work with Dr. Mammen and the Team on Fridays and l really look forward to meeting you soon!

Best dentist that I've come across. The office is well equipped & up to date with a welcoming environment. Office personnel are always friendly and professional. Optional services (whitening, oral cancer screening, invislign, etc.) are upfront in cost and never 'aggressively' pushed. Definitely recommend to all.
